Carol Camp began painting in 1993 as a teenager.  Thinking fine art was not a worthy professional pursuit, she turned her attention to the study and practice of architecture, where it remained for more than two decades.  Carol returned to the practice of making art in 2010.  Her work explores emotion and seeks to find harmony and make sense of chaos and order.  Many of her works are painted with her hands or hand stitched while also containing elements that pay homage to her architectural background.  Carol lives and works in Los Angeles.
