Carol Camp has worked as an artist off and on since 2010.  Her abstract work explores the felt sense and seeks to find language between the rational and irrational.  She frequently paints with her hands or hand sews elements of her work.  Sewing is a skill she was taught as a child by her grandmother – a prolific maker of all things and a depression era farmer.  In addition to her work as an artist, Carol studied architecture in the US and Europe and is also a real estate developer and sometimes poet.  Her work has been shown in and around Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area and has also been published in multiple literary magazines and periodicals.  She is currently working on an adaptation of the traditional tarot deck out of her home studio in Santa Monica, CA.
